New Engitec CX® Plant 6.0tph at ELBAT JSC – Bulgaria
During the month of November 2023, Elbat and Engitec have executed the certificate of handover of the CX® complete Plant designed and manufactured by Engitec.
The plant has a capacity of processing up to 6.0tph of exhaust lead/acid batteries and it is namely composed of: Lead Batteries CX® Breaker & Separation; Weak Electrolyte Collection & Filtration; Fine and Coarse Fraction Separation; Lead Paste Filtration; Lead Foundry; Lead Refinery; Lead Paste Desulphurization; Sodium Sulphate Solution Purification; MVR Sodium Sulphate Crystallization.
Founded in 1993, EL BAT JSC started its activity as one of the fastest growing companies in Bulgaria. Processing and recycling of various types of lead-containing waste and discarded lead-batteries are the main activities of the enterprise.
The main activity of ELBAT JSC is treatment and recycling of various types of lead-containing waste and battery scrap to produce lead, lead alloys and sodium sulfate. The products of the company are main raw material, used in the automotive industry, building of submarines and other vessels, cable coatings, as well as in the chemical industry.
