Upgrading of the Engitec Plant at Clarios Cienega de Flores
When we talk about Engitec business in Central America we talk, of course, about Clarios (former Johnson Controls) and its growing success, among the others, in Mexico with the two production facilities in Garcia and Cienega de Flores.
The cooperation between Clarios and Engitec spans almost two decades and it has been characterized by continuous improvements of the two recycling facilities through tailored solutions studied and realized by Engitec for the recovery of spent batteries and production of Pb ingots.
One of the latest achievements of this synergy is the upgrading of the Engitec ULAB recovery Plant in operation at Clarios Ceniega.
The new equipment designed and manufactured by Engitec for this work are on the final stage of fabrication and will ready soon for the shipment. After the upgrading has been completed the capacity of the plant will be increased from the actual 30tph to 40tph referred to spent lead acid batteries.
In summary, the main supply is the following: New Pre-crushing Unit; Batteries Breaker Upgrading; Foundry Upgrading; Refinery Upgrading.
We are extremely proud of the evergreen collaboration with Clarios worldwide.
